Default 1936 Random

Dug this old Mauser off the wall. wondering what they go for... hanging there since 1975.. all numbers that I can find match..bad thing some where in life they stamped the receiver 8MM.. kinda distracts.. has German eagles on stock?has the cut out on stock, but does not have bent bolt?

That's correct. The Radom wz29 infantry model had a straight bolt. The 8mm marking (just a guess) may have been applied by the Spanish since Poland exporting a whole bunch of these through Spain.

Excellent condition examples of these go for $750 plus. This condition probably $350-$400.

Thanks for the reply...I was in hopes it would be worth more...This has all matching numbers..Stock, butt plate, rear sight, etc. see these RC's around here go for 350 to 400 and we all know what the are..found another stamp on stock looks to be Poland....( ps. has a very decent bore)

The ones that went to Spain had the receivers scrubbed. Haven't got a clue who would have stamped that 8MM on there. The Pole Radom wz29 is one of the better made Mausers, less common to find in the states than the Spanish civil war Radoms.
