Default prayers for cash ?

www.christianprayercenter.com

When you first arrive at this site, you are first asked to create an account before you are allowed to do anything else.

Forget that you need urgent prayer now!

So, ok … not the worse of sins, so I proceeded to create an account, heeding their tagline: “An Online Christian Community that Cares”, although I wonder why there are no prayers of others listed anywhere on the site.
I then proceed to submit my prayer request.

The site then asks you, “How important is your request”? Obviously, most will pick, “Very Important” or they wouldn’t be there in the first place.
As soon as you pick any option at this point, the form then pops up a new question:

How much would you like to offer with your request?
Nothing $7 $15 $50
OK. Let’s choose “Nothing”.
Here comes the good part … Then this little part appears:
Are you sure you do not want to offer anything? God finds ways to punish the unfaithful!

(they too put that in bold and in Red)

WTF!!!

and now after unsubscribing every day since the 19th of October ( as i get daily fund requests with hinted threats of damnation for not doing so )

i'm of a mind to have this domain taken down

i think its a scam

this morning i get this

“Pastor John Carlson” suggests you should donate depending on the urgency of your need, asking for as much as $400 for a “Divine Answer”.

i give to all sorts of places and people for lot's of things , but being charged to place a prayer and to be harrassed with hints i'll be damned if i dont pay especially when i cancelled it all without lodging the prayer ..

would it be wrong for me to bust this up ??

You know God answers all your prayers, it's just that most of the time the answer is no.

He's brought me the folks needed to win , put a fire in the heart of many more and yes we are winning some battles , just the past few months there been a huge deluge in horrid junk our government is pushing ..

so i put prayers for my nation , ( i pray for the USA too) to be stong and resist this evil every place i can , as i've seen too many prayers answered to not beleive in it all

now i am sure its a scam , this joker is also the clown who makes you a ordained minister for a few bucks , no questions asked

http://www.christianprayercenter.com/ministers.html

this is what was posted by one nutjob and was still issued a ticket that stated he's a ordained minister

I am anarchist. I advocate for a stateless society. I'm also an outspoken atheist secularist. I'm a vegan for ethical reasons. I am vehemently anti-racist, humanist and anarcho-socialist. I enjoy music, playing guitar, drawing and a good dark beer.

i guess only money matters to some ...

It's obviously not a Christian site, I say bust it up:thumbsup I have a problem with a place like this that gives a P O box for an address.

The only example we have of Christ using physical force is when He entered the temple in Jerusalem and threw out the moneychangers. There was an area of tables and benches where merchants were selling doves and, we can assume, religious items, and He overturned the tables and threw them all out. Must have been quite a scene.

We must always remember that every word He uttered, every act He performed, was done to teach all men for all times. He lived the simplest of lives, never adorning Himself in fine robes or jewelry.

So I am certain that any evangelist or organization that leverages money for faith is the most despicable form of evil.

Every few years we get a shred of burlap in the mail from some outfit in Texas or Oklahoma, promising that if we send it back with a donation, they'll pray over it and all our dreams will come true. I use them to start fires in the fireplace.

No amount of money will buy us admission to His throne. We are to give and help the needy and use His money wisely in His service, but all people have free access to God. That's the beauty of grace.

I'm on a budget, I do do all that stuff myself. It sounds like those snake oil salemen. You send money and the send you a bottle of holy water, anointing oil, and a prayer cloth. Take'm down Jack.

Many non-profit organizations may, from time to time, send a gift of appreciation to those that support them.
We have supported the Institute for Creation Research for many years.
Some years ago, they sent me an autographed copy of the newest book written by Henry Morris, their founder. I deeply appreciated that gift.
We have supported the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews for many years.
From time to time, they send some token of appreciation to us. Several years ago, it was a small bottle of anointing oil. It is olive oil scented with Fankensense and Mhyrr, produced and bottled in Israel. This oil has great meaning to me.

The difference here is, neither of these LEGITIMATE non-profit organizations even MENTIONED these gifts ahead of time. There was none of this "This piece of rock from the Garden of Gethsemine will be sent to you for your gift of $20 or more!"
As soon as some outfit starts that kind of talk, I am finished with them

May they all rot in hell.

Hi, you mentioned the Lord's help in gun laws etc- I can't help but think the primary problem with our country right now is that we have turned our back on Him. HE said if a country turns its back on HIM or on Israel HE will let us know about it- and we certainly have, by removing HIM from schools, public places- I firmly believe until we all stand up and demand "Merry Christmas" instead of happy holidays, demand HE be put back in schools _allowing prayer etc- then HE will NOT return to our side, and we really need HIM these days.

but this .. seems to be a few places like this now

even found one run by WBC yes THEM...

Jeff pushing for that here too but the government here has been equating Christians with kooks way too long , the socialist try hard to make Christians a dirty word

its like their efforts to get folks to think Islam means peace .. its lies , all of it but scaring folks off , people dont wish to be seen as racist and many dont want to be known as kook's

i dont care either way its a name , coming from them .. it dont mean didly ..
