Default I'm the luckiest man alive!!!!

Today I received an email from an army Major stationed in Iraq. I don't even know this man but he has made me the following offer:

"I secured a huge amount of money that I will need your help to move out of the Iraq. I need a good partner, someone I can trust to receive this funds on my behalf. It's risk Free. You will be entitled to 30%. of the funds.
Please do respond if you are interested.
U.S. Army Maj. Kevin Cochie"

I am so proud of this man I sent a copy of his email address and offer to the local FBI hotline so they can properly thank him.

Can't wait for my money...

Lucky me.

Nice. Now if they actually do something to catch the little scamming, scumbags it really would be a lucky day.

I wonder, when I hear about scams like that, about the people that fall for it.

Are they just trying to be helpful, and will only take their 30%? Or are they planning on keeping it all?

Are they morons or thieves?

I bet most if not all of them come from Nigeria. Whole country is full of scammers. I can't believe the high concentration of scum in that country.

Some people are scamming the scammers, they basically kind of go along with it making the scammers think they will get money and then ask for something like you need money for a hotel or something and some people actually pull it off. I would never want to try anything like that though.

I've received 3 messages recently from the Policia Segurança Publica. The messages are in spanish and give indication that a family member has committed a crime and are being held captive in a Portuguese prison/jail .

When I tried to forward these messages on to a friend who speaks fluent spanish, my computer gave me a warning saying that if I forwarded the email, the attachments within the message would be opened not only on my end, but on the recipients end as well, thus subjecting both of us to a possible virus.

All of my family members are accounted for - None have traveled to Portugal.

I'm a very private person, careful with my email address -- Where the heck did these people get my email address from??

I would love to use the link you've provided and stop this harassment, however, I can't forward the message without subjecting myself to whatever is contained in the attachments that came with the message.

Any suggestions?

Me too. Then it happened to a guy I work with. His dad was getting emails from a woman with a lot of money and she was going to move here to be with him and he would be rich, he just had to pay the taxes on the millions. Well he sent all of the money he and his wife had, borrowed money from his mom and pawned all of his wife's jewelry. He sent money western union so many times that WU thought something illegal was going on so now nobody with that last name can send money WU in that town. Needless to say he never got anything out of it. You think he would have learned, no he has done the same thing two times after that with two different women.

I get at least two messages a week tellinq me that I have to contact someone to claim my money. The last one I got was from the Secretary of State. As soon as I saw that Hillary was trying to contact me, I deleted it.

A lady at my Church got a phone call from a young man, claiming to be her Grandson , saying that he was in jail in some foreign country and that she needed her to wire him some money immediately. He begged her not to let "his mother" know about him being in jail. She was within a couple of minutes of wiring the money but didn't follow his directions, she did call his mother and found out that her Grandson was at home!!

actually I put $10,000 in escrow in an offshore account is Maldives last year to cover the next 5 years but am having trouble retrieving it. something about my second uncle twice removed commiting a major crime there and now their government has placed an stop to any legal action performed by anyone with my last name unless I send them $3000 USD along with 14 squirrel pelts and 2 pounds of fingernail clippings. I need you to send me $3000 to help recover it. I will pay you back plus 11.8% when I receive it. LOL
