I went to get stocked up on deer ammo and saw this jewel for $399.00 Probably all she's worth but I couldn't resist a 99% stainless tactical S&W 45 acp with a low round count. it is a Kentucky state police trade in and evidently they ordered them with bobbed hammers no picatinny rail and decocker only with no safety. It has tritium night sights and came with tactical holster and extra mag. They have there own KSP serial number too.
I bought it because it was a little more compact and tactical than my milspec rock island and I thought was just plumb cool. Thought I would share some pics. I am not a big tactical guy but this one kinda turned me on.

Yes Sir! That's what I'm talking about. Very nice! I think it's worth that. I'd love to have one.

Yes, that is VERY nice! I have a West Virginia State Police version of the same pistol. It has the attachment rail and different engraving, but overall the same. Mine is a pretty good shooter too.

That's an awesome pistol find! I like the Kentucky State Police engraving. Good job!

Really LOOKS like it has a low round count- and a Smtih auto 45 for 399? Good eye, partner, hope ya enjoy it.

Looks like a really LOW round count, maybe the cop was addicted to doughnuts so badly he never got to the range. LOL
