seen the chicom bullpup's ? a couple have turned up in E Timor and being assessed here now , and they aint half bad either ,

Glad to see it is not a "bullpup" design like Britain, France, and China's rifles. Some of the peoples' comments are pretty dramatic, saying "Soviet" as if the cold war is still going on and Russia is still the communist extremist and trying one-up the US by upgrading a several-decade-old rifle. Silly.

Not that there is anything wrong with the bullpup design for a combat weapon, I'd just like to see the traditional rifle layout stick around for awhile longer.

won't be around for too much longer, i'm afraid. there are simply too many advantages of bullpup vs. traditional.

like 29" barrels that dont look like a FN/FAL

i do miss the round (7.62 NATO) but compared to the styers heck they where awkward
