i just finished building a ar15 and i was missing one thing and that was a buffer tube spring and buffer. the wife thought she would suprise me with a gift from fleabay. she baught the spring and buffer for $20 delivered. when i fired the gun it sounds like theirs a klinking sound. i was thinkg the gun needed to be lubed or maybe the cheap spring and buffer... WHAT DO YOU THINK?

There is always a noticeable TWONG when you fire an AR. The buffer in my old ratty issued NG M-16A1 rattled but my RRA doesn't.

Have to point out that not just any old buffer and spring work in all configurations of AR15. You have to match buffer weight and length to the action.
