"Excellent condition". That don't mean anything. Your "excellent" might be someone else's "fair to good".
Pictures are needed to make an estimate. Good, clear, sharp, pictures. Preferably taken in daylight, without a flash.
That octagonal barrel (hex has 6 sides, the barrels have 8) is worth more than a round one, because people like them better. But is it a standard 24" or a special order 30"? Short rifle, maybe, with a 20"? All three of those would have different values.
The stock. Regular straight stock or pistol grip? Checkering? All these things make a difference.
It might be in "excellent" condition because 20 years ago someone reblued it and refinished the stock. That makes great sense for a working gun, however collectors turn their noses up at that, and the value drops.
