Last night my daughters boyfriend proposed. Maybe I will have a grandchild before in a wheelchair. He is a great guy and quite the gun addict himself. They are well armed LOL. He is an EMT/Paramedic with his local volunteer fire company (his father is chief). He got his RN degree from Misericordia University two years ago and is in training at a local hospital to become a flight nurse on their helicopter. We are quite happy.

Yea last Christmas he got me a box of deep penetrating, personal protection hollow points for my .40. Always trying to get on my good side LOL.

Congratulations! Its good to have someone that will not only be good to your daughter but also a friend to you. Here is to many years for them and to your new friend!!

Alright!congrats all the way around. good to know some of the young guys still will work lol. My son in law is allergic to work.he goes out on the porch, looks up and down the street and says, nope no jobs here.

Yes, the first. I was able to hold out to get married until 30 yrs old and we decided one and done so that we do not have kids in school at retirement time. Maybe just a little selfish. Thanks everyone, yes they are both good kids. She is a Physical Therapist at a rehab facility in Bethlehem PA.

Yes, He is volunteer at local Fire Co and they have a "Santa Run" each year and they deliver gifts to the kids in town with Santa on the fire trucks decorated with lights. He used the occasion to pop the question. We knew about it as he asked our permission back on Thanksgiving Day. He was brought up right.
