Default Just back from Ames

I just got back from Iowa State University at Ames, Iowa where my son just graduated at the head of his class , Magna Com Laude in three majors. I am quite proud of him. He's an outdoorsman; loves to hunt and fish. He majored in forestry, Agricultural business and Agricultural research and Development. Smart kid. He's home for a couple of weeks then off to Kansas City to start a new job as an arborist.

Congrats to your son, used to live in ames..moved roughly a year back. Miss the great restaurants, but like living in the sticks for shooting purposes.

My old college trig teacher called arborists and carpenters "tree butchers". Just thought I would share. Kind of funny to me, since my dad was a carpenter.

Fantastic Brisk! Tell that young man that we are all proud of him!

Lamentations Chapter 5:
1. Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
2. Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
3. We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.
5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
16. The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
