Chevy really isn't losing anything! The Volt is paid for with tax payer money!

Lamentations Chapter 5:
1. Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
2. Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
3. We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.
5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
16. The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

This is what "leadership from behind" gets us.

He is tearing the coal industry to shreds, and what do we need to run the Volt- elec. cars? why electricity of course! At the same time he's killing the pipeline, regulating oil co's to death, disallowing exploration/drilling our own oil- it sounds like maybe he wants us to ride a govt bus everywhere- like, to our govt job- where we eat at the govt cafeteria with michelle's menu- then go home to our govt apartment-
That's what his mentors wanted, so is it a coincidence he's trying his best?

Obamanomics - mandate double mileage and have gas prices at 4$+ per gallon with more massive losses for car companies to make cars that people can't afford to buy.

Good points here. An electric car won't help you much when the rates skyrocket, and the greenies aren't gaining much, just switching from gas to coal in a lot of cases.
