Default stevens 66b

My mother got me a steven model 66b for christmas it a pretty nice gun. Anybody knows anything about it. it is missing the peep sight how hard would it be to put one back on it thanks

I found one on the web for 11 dollars but they are out of stock. I been trying different ammo though it and it has very tight pattern but it is alway high what could be wrong it bore is very bright and rifling is not pitted or rusted so I am thing it the sight it has different rear sight then I am used too thanks

Your barrel probably isn't the problem. It's the front sight, it needs to be higher. Find a higher one.

I will looking that. Like I said the barrel looks fine very bright and its has very tight groups thanks
