Any good books out there about the history of firearms? I'm more interested in military firearms, but would enjoy reading about early American guns as well. It would be nice if there was a Kindle version I can read on my tablet.

for Christmas i got The Illustrated History of Firearms, it was published by the NRA, pretty sure my sis got it at B&N. and i LOVE it!

Sounds like a nice gift! I'll have to check it out.
I'm hoping to find something that I can buy from the Kindle store to put on my tablet for my trip to Washington next week. I've never been fortunate enough to be able to sleep for an entire flight. |
