ALWAYS clean a new firearm before shooting. All the grease used to keep the new firearm from rusting MUST be removed. Give the new rifle a good cleaning, lightly lube and shoot better ammo. The Firearm will last you a long time and be reliable. Problem solved.

We will wait for the range report.

I wonder if the steel shell casing hurt the barrel any? Im definitely going to stay away from the steel cased ammo. I just didnt know. Too bad I bought 5 boxes of Tulammo 20 round because ammunition is not refundable

I don't put cheap ammo through my guns. These guns for the most part, especially rifles like the quality ammo. I reallycan't think of a time when I, or a friend had a problem with a rifle and it wasn't the ammo. That's been my experience.

It just amazes me that people will buy a new rifle and then shoot
the cheapest, crap ammo they can find in it and then can't understand
why they have problems. The steel cased junk usually has some type
of varnish finish that makes it tough to chamber and eject.
