Why were they so hell bent on breaking in, when they knew she was there? What were they after?

The dead one had been stalking her, for a while. Seen her on Fox today. She's now waiting for the other one whose was there to come after her. He's out on bond. She said she's ready for him, but sooner or later, everybody lets their guard down. I hope she has a lots of friends with guns who will look after her.
