I have a 1943 4xxxxxx 03a3,I noticed that CMP says that I'm to assume that all rifles with the bolt handle position bent straight down would be an early bolt, that according to them the latter ones had the bolt position swept back. Is this true for this rifle?
Yes, never use a straight bent bolt. They are as dangerous as the low number receivers. I dropped this straight bolt 42" to a concrete floor. Look at what happened.
