My brother gave me 500 Rainer 155 gr. RN 40SW (he doesn't shoot 40 much anymore). Load data for 155 is scarce in the books I have....lot's of data for 150 and 165.

Looking at the Sierra book and my Accurate and Hodgdon powder data, I come up with a mid range for AA2 of 5.8 - 5.9 and for HS-6, 7.2 - 7.4. This is data for lead bullets which Rainier recommends.

    Seem reasonable?

155 gr data is a bit on the sparse side for the .40. Keep in mind that it is a safe practice to use data for a slightly heavier bullet. In your case i would utilize the data for the 165. And follow normal safe reloading practices.
