Marked Colt automatic caliber .32 rimless smokeless, April 20,1897 Dec 22,1903 ser. # 3564xx. I found this at a pawn shop. They think it is excellent but I think maybe 80% or so. They want 549.99.They say the book is low on this one, my book shows $ 550.00 if excellent BUT says add 40% for early patent date. Does anyone here have any thoughts on this gun? Is it a good gun to buy and hold?
    Thanks

In 80% condition it has no collectibility and is way overpriced. About $350 would be the max you should pay.

I have a Colt 32 caliber rimless and smokless pistol. Original owner issued to an officer during WWI. This gun is in excellent condition. some wear on the grips, that are black. There are NO rust pits on the gun. The serial number is low 538xx. Has been kept clean and oiled. Any idea on a price.
