My Luger is a DWM, designated as P.S. 3 on the grip and is in 85% condition. It is from the Sachen Police School (District of Ansbach) in Bavaria. It was originally manufactured in Berlin-Charlotteberg in 1917. Refabricated in 1920. It has the serial # 1000 on all parts including the mag which is wood based. Can someone help with an approximate value? Thank you

Welcome to TFF Peter, hope you enjoy your stay here, there are a bunch of great folks here.

The 29th Edition of the Blue Book of Gun Values shows the following information on the double dated DWM:

9mm Para., 4 or 8 in. barrel, very scarce. 1920 over 1910-18 chamber dates. Often with sear safety and mag. safety remnant.
    100% - N/A
    98% - $1375
    95% - $1200
    90% - $995
    80% - $800

Add 100% for intact mag. safety.
Add 40% for 8 inch barrel.
