1917 eddystone

    i have a 1917 eddystone just wandering what it might be worth it has been told to me the it has been sportsterized and barrel cut to a 24 it is 30-06 cal

    Pictures would be needed for anyone to be very specific about values, rdecator. The general rule is that when a military rifle has been sporterized, it has value only as a shooter, not as a collector's item.

    That makes it depend on how well the work was done, what shape it is in, and so on. Without pictures, somebody here may be able to give you a ballpark estimate on value, but it will be a pretty broad ballpark.
