1972 win. model 88

    looking for estimate price on the following:
    1972 (date checked by factory)
    winchester model 88 lever action rifle .308
    original clip
    stock has been refinished to 98% perfection, extremley minor imperfections
    barrel has been mag-na ported
    functions fine
    accurate- 1/2" @100yds off bench
    rifling in good shape
    original butt pad has been replaced with pacmeyer
    bluing in good shape
    slight bluing imperfection at mag-na port location
    no rust or pitting
    original front and rear sights removed
    slight (1/8") indintation where front sight was removed

    Probably no more than $350 and it is simply a fine shooter now. This is a late example of of the Model 88. The Winchester calibers bring higher dollars than common calibers. Love that model along with the Savage.....great shooters.
