2 more wood grips

    Picked up two more sets of wood grips to replace rubber on a couple of 1911s.

    Nice looking. I like the checkered ones the best, but the others are nice too. What wood is on the second set, Padauk, Osage Orange, or am I way off base. ??

    Both are nice looking, but I too like the checkerd ones, really "makes"
    the gun!

    Wood on the 2nd one is Padauk.
    The checkered ones are a used set of Kim Ahrends. Surprising how good plain old tung oil finish can look on good wood.
