The first gun is a ,32-20 Hand Ejector, Model 1905 Third Change, made 1909-1915, serial numbers 45201-65700. Yours was probably made around 1913. The caliber is commonly called .32-20 and is available at most well stocked gun shops. I don't think the nickel plating is original, but whatever collector value it had was destroyed by putting on those sights. They are not factory and really hurt the appearance of the gun. (They may work fine as sights, though, if you shoot the gun.) Value maybe $100-150.

The second gun looks to be a Model 64, made in 1978. Retail value would be $350-400.

    the second gun looks nickle not stainless at least to me . if it's nickle it could be a model 10 (38) , 13 (357) if stainless a model 64 ( 38) ( not sure they made a heavy barreled stainless 38 ?) , 65 (357)

On second look, could be nickel. The OP says it is .38 Special, though, which rules out the .357 models.

Chrisweber, if you could swing out the cylinder and look at the frame underneath the crane, there should be a model number, somehting like MOD 64-3. That will tell us the model number and whether it is nickel or stainless.

Top gun sights looks like they were on a rifle at one time.

I wouldn't even try as IMHO that would just make things worse since the original sights could never be restored. Sometimes one simply has to accept the way things are.
