I have an old 22Cal 7 shot 5 1/2 inch barrel H&R pistol, I would like more information on it.
Manufactured by H&R Arms company, Worcester Mass. USA
On the top it says H&R Model 190622CAL.R.F.
    Serial # 178232

this is a high serial number for a model 1906. i have only recorded number up to 184769 for this model. if it has a step in the frame it is before 1925 and no step after 1925. that is the best i can do on age for now.

MODEL 1906 SMALL SOLID FRAME DOUBLE ACTION.22 RIMFIRE CALIBER --1905-1941
7 shot cylinder capacity, pull pin cylinder release, nickel finish (blue optional), 2½, 4½ or 6 inch barrel lengths, hard rubber Target Logo grips, marked with company name and address on left side of barrel and on top strap in two lines “H&R MODEL 1906 22 CAL. R.F.". After 1930 listed in catalogs as: H&R MODEL 6 DOUBLE ACTION No. 96 .22 RF CALIBER 7 shot
    VALUE: 100%=$185 60%=$65
