I have a Savage model 64 22 cal.rifle with a 10 round magazine. My 65 year old thumbs really have a hard time loading the mag. Does anyone know who, if anyone, sells one?
I know what you mean 62 today and i lost about 60% hand strength in an accident 5 years ago & now arthritis has joined the fun. SO - I'm going to buy a Marlin SS model 60. I looked at that said Wow just dump those shells down the tube and fire away. I know it's for me. I have 10 assorted clips for my 10/22 and make my sons load them up every time they stop by. I can do it but then my hands cramp and i can't shot for a hour or two- so catch 22.
It may just be 'old-timers', but I 'think' I remember getting a loader with my first 10-22 purchase in about 1962. Came in the box, just a stamped metal part. I checked with Ruger recently, and they had no info. from back then. I just don't want or need a loaded for large capacity magazines. Just for my 'new' 10-22 I got to teach my grandson to shoot.
