I have a 2ng generation SAA .357 in excellent condtion with original box (no papers). I have had a few people look at it but they all give me completely different answers as to what it's worth. The gun it self is in mint condition shot only a few times. It was purchased in the 70's. The information on the box is Finish-Blue, Barrell Length 5 1/2, Caliber 357/c, Model 1650, Serial #67939SA. Any info you can give will be appreciated.

Your Colt is called "mid-range 2nd generation" which included serial numbers from 39000SA to 70055SA." Since it is in .357 caliber, it is the most common, so that brings the value down somewhat. Also, the fact that it has been fired results in another reduction in value. As long as all the finish is there, it is worth approximately $950. Since you have the original box, that adds about $200 in value, so you should expect to get about $1150 for the pistol. Actually, it will be a hard sell to a collector, as they are primarily interested in mint, unfired guns, so it will probably be of more interest to a beginning collector.
