Thank you for posting that, Sam.

Folks here might want to know there is a guest book link at that obituary location as well, where they can leave comments.

I tried signing the quest-book twice and the message never appeared despite giving me the thank you for signing note after I clicked to add.

I have no idea what is happening, only that they never showed up..... :(

There was quite a delay on mine, then an e-mail telling me it had been posted.

Sorry, I have not been around for months, so I saddly learned today that good old Ron is gone. Heaven is filled with laughs now because he is telling jokes to every angel he meets.

We miss Ron a lot. The two years he spent here were great. He was a lot of help to me and he kept everyone entertained. He and one of the sheriff deputies stayed at each other all the time. Ron came home one day and his trailer was wrapped in crime scene tape. Ron went to the bank and fell down on the floor and stuck his hands and legs up in the air and told everyone in the bank he was a dead armadillo. He was a nutcase

Bob, Ron emailed me the picture of the "crime scene" and I laughed all day. I wrote him back that it served him right for all the Potted Meat meals he posted. :D

He neglected to tell me about the "bank caper".

That had to be funny. :D:D

It has taken me a while to compose my thoughts about Ron. I called him friend, and he called me friend. I broke bread with him, and his wife Carla, who was the light of his life. We talked via email, chat rooms, and on the phone. While I knew his health was not as good as it should have been, the news of his passing came as a shock.

He was a good man, husband, father, and friend. And with few exceptions, I doubt if he ever met anyone who didn't like him. I will miss him. I would have gone to war with him.

    Rest in peace, friend Ron.
