I am in search of information on a .38 S&W Defender, H&R Incorporated Worchester Mass USA stamped on top of gun with SN AA23839. I am wanting to find approximately what year this was made and the possible worth. I do not intend to sell the gun as it had belonged to my father and I lost him in '75 but I am curious.
The 925 was only called the defender in literature. the 38 S&W Defender is a pre war 1930's era revolver with an auto ejection feature . the post war 925/926 were hand ejectors in that you had to push the cylinder pin up to eject the shells.
