I have an old aluminum .38 snubbie that does well with NON +P .38 Winchester 110 gr. Silvertips. I cannot find the Silvertip .38 bullet, as a component, anywhere.

Does anybody have a pet load that simulates the .38 non +P Silvertip? I want to be able to load these up if this particular ammo dries up, either by company choice or because of the impending political decisions by our leaders.

My criteria: Decent expansion with some penetration without +P pressures, for self-defense use and snubbie pistol defensive ranges (not more than 15 yards).

Thank you in advance for any ideas.
