A gentleman at the gun shop said he had a friend that would like to buy this double barrel 410....figured value at approx $500. Does this sound about right as I'm about ready to deal; Thought I would first check with the forum

Does that say "Enders Royal Service"?

If so, it's a "hardware store gun" made by Crescent Arms for Wyeth Hardware
    and Manufacturing, St Louis MO.

You have someone that wants to buy it for $500? SELL IT before they come
    to their senses.

"Shotgun Markings" by the late Joe Vorisek lists Enders Royal Service as made by Crescent, and also by Hunter Arms Co. on their Fulton model, both for Shapleigh Hardware of St Louis.

Wyeth Hardware Co. was in St Joseph.
