We recently got a stainless Dan Wesson 445 Super Magnum in the shop and ...
    1) were looking for a source for ammo for it.
    2) were checking to make sure it is also correct to fire .44mag and .44spl in it.

I just laid eyes on it minutes ago and am just looking into it. I found one similar on GunBroker and got a little info there.

    Thanks, Bob.

I'm begining to think this a wildcat cart. only?

I see that Starline Brass is the only producer of brass.

Unfortunately, I know of no commercial source of loaded .445SM ammunition. It is possible that one of the small custom loaders (Buffalo Bore, etc.) may produce it, and might be worth searching out.

Yes, it's possible to shoot .44 Special and Magnum loads in the gun, although my experience is that the Specials aren't terribly accurate. Both shorter rounds foul the chambers badly, and require a good cleaning before using .445 ammunition. Dan Wesson didn't endorse the practice.

    Hope this helps!
