Does anyone know what the minimum case length when resizing a 7.62x39 for my AK-47? I know the max is 38.70mm but what is the minimum?

That would be the "case trim length;" which is 1.518 inches...

Now, I have 30-30 cases that are shorter than the "case trim length," and they fire fine with wonderful accuracy... the neck on a 7.62 x 39mm isn't all that long so that could be a problem with runout.

What manuals do you have? Max case length and "trim to length" is listed in all.
Or are you talking about Max Over All Length, bullet seated in a loaded round?

Duno, I do not do metric, specially when my manuals are in inches.
