I am pretty jealous, I wish we could have been there. We are surely considering next year. So who caught the most bass?

Oh and youll have 2 chances to meet a few of the folks Jim. We are still going to aim TFF TX 5 for the last week of april as we have, and the weather was so nice in GA this weekend I see no reason sam would want to push that date either. So im fairly sure TFF TX and TFF BBQ are end of APRIL middle of SEPT respectively pretty much permanently from here on out..

Thanks JLA. We really wanted to go but we wanted to get the cash set aside for it. I know it had to be fun. What did everybody stay in. We don't have a camper and my wife is not a tent fanatic.

we drove up from Joshua TX, about 900 miles one way. spent 110 bucks on gas each way and we booked the motel on priceline for 39 bucks. so total trip cost us right about 300 bucks including eats for Beck and Myself, course Sam and Carl fed us good for the 2 days we were there so we were only out a subway sammage mid trip each way and breakfast friday morning when we got into Dalton. Pretty cheap vacation IMO. And Becks lil Hyundai averaged 34 a gallon. which is bad compared to some of the 40+ vehicles they are turning out these days.

    Well worth the trip fellas!

Bass.....prolly Adah....the labrador. She damn sure caught
more stick trout than could ever be imagined.
JLA tried his hand, but all he brought was his 'crappie' pole,
and there ain't no crappie in that pond...........

The motel in Meridian ID is about 2130mi......
the motel in Kansas City KS is about 738mi......
the motel from Dalton GA [exit 336-I75] about 8mi.....
just depends [and some of the old farts really
should have been wearing them] on which motel you
    wish to stay at.

Yeah. youd have bore the brunt of one long ass trip Jim. Beck and i logged just a shade under 2000 miles round trip including all the driving around we did while we were there.

I know weve had some long haulers come down for TX meet earlier this year. T2S drove down from Sioux Falls SD. I know that one had to be one heck of an ass numbing trip.

You'll see me make that reference alot. its really the only thing I HATE about driving long distances.. We left Dalton GA at about 21:15 GA time yesterday evening, we stopped for gas in Steele AL at 10ish were trucking thru Tuscaloosa AL around 11ish. My butt was asleep from Tuscaloosa clean into coonass territory before we stopped for gas again..
