Just returned from a small gunshop in South Pittsburgh,TN: Picked up 2 50 round boxes of Fiocchi in .45ACP for my .45 Sig, name of the shop is Slicks Pawn & Gun Shop, 300 S Cedar Ave, South Pittsburg, TN. Tel: 423-837-8727. They had 3 or 4 more boxes of .45ACP so ammo can be found without huge markups:D

Bought 4 boxes of 9mm Blazer from Walmart for $10 ea. 50/bxThey had about 8 boxes when I left. Also got a box of Winchester 44mag, 240gr, 50/bx for $32.I don't have a 45, but, ammo for them isn't hard to come by around here (Gainesville FL)from what I can tell. Local gun shop has plenty and Walmart useually does.

In today's market, that's not bad, but I'm glad I reload.

Two weeks ago at the Austin Tx Gun Show I picked up three boxes of Independance .45 ACP 239gr FMJ Round Nose for $21 per box of 50. Last week at Sports Authority Waco TX I bought four boxes of Winchester .45 ACP 230 gr JHP for $31 per box of 50. They also had boxes of FMJ Round Nose 100 rnds for $45. :D The clerk said the prices were going to increase.

Farm Services, Inc. in Wallnut Ridge, Ar. has a good selection of ammo from .219 bee to 45-70 usualy by several makes and loadings. Had a lot of the usual stuff 30-30, 30-06, .308, .270, 30-40 several metric rounds. Prices seem to be little changed from last summer. Pistol ammo spotty no 9mm that I saw, most everything else was available though some was in short supply. Some pistol ammo had gone up especialy the specialty stuff. Saw several boxes of .416 and there might have been a box of.458s.

My last four trips to Walleyworld, Acadamy Sports, and Bass Pro shop netted me 5 or 6 boxes of 30/30, 1 box of Critical Defense, in 380, and a couple a boxes of slugs. Nothing to be had in the Shreveport, LA area.
