I ordered some components from Grafs for reloading for my M1 and the boxes of 155 gr AMAX had "featuring AMP jackets". Im like, WTF is AMP Jackets? So I googled it and looky what I found. Looks like HDY has stepped up their bullet making process to pretty much ZERO tolerance. I like it.. :)

I'll be interested to see what results you get with'em. Maybe I'll be up that direction when you're out shooting. Seems I've been up that way nearly every weekend lately....:D

i got a box of the 225 grain in .308 and some 285 grain in .338 but they still on the shelf untouched , not cheap but folks swear by em so going to give them a go for the 600 and 1000 meter shoots

Those are some High BC pills Jack. Anything over .5 on the BC will do quite well at 1000. I think those .30s are a .630 BC and the .33s are a .7 somethin.

If you can get either of them anywhere close to or over 3k, theyll shoot 1000 like a normal rifle shoots 400. Provided the shooter is on his A game.

i dunno if the new ones will life my game any ..

the bloke who's no 1 local wise is still 40 points in front of me

he's shot 3 possibles this year and its only 1/3 way through ..

these are what he's been using , i'll finish this round shoot 50 and see if i'm better ..

if so reload with these , dont ask how far ahead he is in the open magnum class ... i'm hangin my head on that one ...
