My dad gave me an Iver Johnson model 1900 pistol he has had for years. he didnt know much about it( age or remember when or where he got it). I did some searching on the net about it and found this forum. i have some questions about this pistol. From what I've read it is either a .32 or .38 cal. He had some .32S&W, i tried putting it in the chamber, it fell right through the revolver. So i assume its .38...? Also, i am wondering the age. I removed the grips and the number is 1030 0, and it has the flat trigger spring. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Welcome to TFF.

Large frame .38 S&W caliber Model 1900 sn 10300 was made in 1900, the first year of production, for black powder ammo.
