We have watched Becker quite a bit, but the other night there were 2 shows - back to back that erked me.
In the first one Becker looks at Jake's newspaper stand (Jake is the blind guy) and says something like - "Look at all this Porn/smut - You actually sell that stuff?" Jake replys with " Thats my best sellers - a few years ago it was Guns & Ammo - I think the world is getting better"
The next show they show a couple guys getting into an argument behind Becker and Jake and one of the guys pulls out a revolver and accidentaly shoots Becker. The argument was over a parking space.....I'm gonna have to start watching a little closer and see if there is a trend here
Some of the new shows are really hitting the gun control issue kinda hard in a negative way - dang liberal producers are ruining some good drama/comedy shows!!!!!

I lived out there and worked in the studios for 20 years. The conventional wisdom says that most writers and directors are liberals, with exceptions like John Milius and Chuck Heston. That is true, in my experience. I think what you are seeing is just what you fear it is -- ignorance and superstition and emotionalism about firearms. I enjoyed reading GUNS & AMMO out there and knew I was among a minority that actually knew what I was talking about when the subject was guns. There are a lot of movies and TV shows similarly marred by anti-Second Amendment propaganda. But remember, these are the same people that think it was no big deal to be a Communist while producing biased films for national release.

This subtle propaganda will take it’s toll on the impressionable audience.
Of course, that is the plan.

These anti gun psychopaths take a shot at gun control every chance they get. its like the Law and Order episode where the little kid says to the detectives. "Thats the gun that killed my dad".
The individual responsibility is taken out of the equation. This is carefully financed by George Soros (moveon.org) and other communist despots who's goal is the obliteration of our way of life.
If anyone doubts we are at war, then they have their head buried very deep in the sand.
Between the communists of the world and the overt bolsheviks, combined with "Peaceful practionioers of Islam", We ARE at war.

Dansen is one of the most liberal anti-gunners on TV today. He and sKerry deserve each other.

It is very dificult to watch TV these days, It is a bombardment of liberal puss. I am sick of it. The News is rediculously left wing , with the exception of Fox, which seems to be getting less conservative. Regular programing is loaded with covert and some not so covert Left wing mesages. It reallyty is pathetic

I concur. My wife tells me to stop analyzing the shows so much. I find myself pointing out the liberal slant all the time.

If it weren't for the History Channel I might not ever watch TV. They are at least trying to be unbiased and show firearms as more than "evil tools".
I haven't liked Danson since Cheers, and really not even then (his supporting cast made the show - not him).

I remember I saw "the history of the revolver" of the history channel once when my roommater had the tv on. Good stuff, but I never turn the tv on of my own will, unless it's the play ps2 of course.
