I'm looking for a used Anschutz to use in 4p. Cannot afford a model 54 match so am looking at the m64 match. Is there a difference between the "Savage-Anschutz" and the "Anschutz " match 64 rifles? Is there a preference for accuracy?

Yes, there is a difference; the Savage rollmarked rifles come some cheaper; otherwise, every part will interchange!
They rolled off the line, side by side.
The Savage seems to have used plainer, cheaper wood, but you are shooting this, not hanging it a museum, so do just that.
Triggers, accessories, etc are available and plentiful, for either flavor; again, interchangeable.

    That be true......;)

I recently purchased a new Weatherby Mk XXII bolt, and the barrel & action are the very same Anschutz m64.

If you find one and need extra mags for it, go to Brownell's website, and look up replacement mags for the Savage, they work just as good as the Annie (or Weatherby) mags, and at a fraction of the cost.....

+1. The wood on the Savage-Anschutz rifles is very plain, but the guns shoot the same as their higher-priced cousins.
