I don't do Facebook and can't get past the fact they will open their public offering WAY over their competitors' and their value! I figure some folks will make a killing and a whole bunch more will take a beating....

I'm assuming I will via mutual funds that I own. I don't purchase single stocks; I don't have the time to adequately research, and they're still risky even if you know everything there is to know about the company (think Enron). I'm pretty adverse to risk, so I stick with long-established mutual funds.

Anyone who buys it on Friday will be paying top dollar unless they got in on the IPO.

Wait, it will drop, then will be the time to buy.

Insiders are already dumping large amounts and many more shares will be available Friday than anticipated. Will be high and will drop rapidly. Possibly will look to buy after a 15 or 20 pt drop.

Nah, 90% of the first stuff goes to the big boys. Then the brokers who require you to have $250K and up in your account. Then the big boys may sell off the stuff they bought first at $38.00 for double or more by the end of the day to make a quick profit. All the individual will get is their left overs at inflated prices. No Thanks!

Well, the big boys made out like a bandit today. The stock started out at $38.00, and wound up at $38.28.

Tennis court, horses, blonde bimbos, whew, makes me dizzy thinking about it.

They better sell quick. It's a sure bet the 38 bucks will drop down to around $25 once it levels out. :bleh:
