BG, The RCBS Ammo Master press is still being sold in my 'Lock Stock and Barrel catalog out of Valentine, NB.

Basic press is about $154.00, then add another $129.50 for the piggy back progressive equipment on top of the press. Which totals to $283.50, this does not include S&H.

The piggy back mechanical equipment is of dubious quality when it comes to competent functionality. It's not as reliable as Dillon or Hornady.

I recomend selling it on the auction site and get yourself a Dillon.

Sticks and stones will break my bones but names will make me boo hoo.

RCBS hasn't seen the day they are better than Dillon.

I know this is an old thead but I thought I would clear the air. The AmmoMaster prgressive is NOT just a PiggyBack crammed on top. The AmmMaster was available in 3 configurations, single stage, 50BMG, and progressive. The PiggyBack conversion is a little light weight but it's sole design is to be an economical way to convert a single stage press to progressive. It's not my cup of tea, but given those parameters it's about the only solution to that perceived problem on the market today. I used a buddy's Dillon Square Deal B's, a 550B, and even a 650 before I went shopping for a progressive about 6 years ago. I bought the AmmoMaster Progressive. It is a good press for the money. Heck...if you want to "sell that piece of junk" then shoot me an email so we can talk!!

Sorry... I just had to throw that last opportunistic blip in there! Actually I'm sure it would be an interesting conversation with the finance manager tryng to explain to her why I would need ANOTHER press! And I'm also certain of the outcome........

Tell her it's a great deal, and it'll save you money later.
