So, I'm curious. For all the AR fans, what do you like best about the AR?
I've cast the first vote because for me it is the LEGO building concept. I have come to the conclusion now that I will likely build 4 different AR's. This 5.56/.223 carbine that now awaits it's barrel, the .300 Blackout pistol AR, a 7.62x39 AR and an AR 10 in .308. That covers the calibers I want covered (with the .300 Blackout being sort of 'an extra'). I am still a bit undecided in there though since I found that I can get pistol length 7.62x39 barrels so, the pistol may become a 7.62x39 pistol and I'll simply forget about .300 Blackout.
Since it is unlikely that I will have free cash to go out and buy large ticket cost items, the ability to build piece by piece appeals to me a great deal. Over time I get to put together a quality firearm that I couldn't afford if I had to plunk down all the cash at once.
