Did anyone ever shoot the Armscor Precision 22 LR standard velocity rounds? You can't find any .22 rounds and this was all I could find. They did cycle in my 10-22. Very quiet, sounded like a pellet gun.
GVW3 if you were pleased with the standard velocity Armscor 22LR ammo then it passed the ultimate test.
I suspect most of us in here use high velocity 22LR ammo when in fact high velocity is overkill for bagging squirrels and cycling semiautos. There tends to be a mindset we all fall prey to in thinking that high velocity 22LR must be better than standard velocity because it's faster.
I use Remington & Winchester Sub-Sonics and CCI Standard Velocity, they cycle in my Marlin 60 . These rounds are just under 1070 ft per second, and they are below the speed of sound which is 1150 feet per sec. When U go below the speed of sound there is less noise when the rifle is fired. The longer the barrel the less noise also. I shoot a M. arlins 60 ,22" barrel,Marlin 39, 24 inch barrel.Any questions get in touch!
