    Hi Mike . . .

When I was a member of a smallbore club in Wheaton. Illinois several years ago: One of the club members had a rifle like that. It was all over the target at 50 yard. I saw some of his 50 yard targets that had 5 shot groups measuring 3 inches.

At 100 yards, on the NRA A-25 target, (same as we shot last Sunday) He could keep all his shots in the x ring, shooting from the PRONE position.

The way he explained it: The bullets were yawing (corkscrew path) until they got out beyond 50 yards. They would “go to sleep” and spin true just before they went through the 100 yard target.

Bob was Illinois State Smallbore Prone Champion several years in a row. He went with me to the Michigan State Match once and won the Michigan State Championship. He had NRA Master Classification and was NOT jerking these 50 yard shots.

I’m not suggesting you are jurking your shots at 50 yards. I’m wondering if your Suhl spins those bullets out the barrel without any corkscrew effect, then they go goofy before they get to the 50 yard target, then go to sleep again before they get to 100 yards. (???)

Barrel vibraton thing? Turn that tuner! :)
