Been discussing the surplus ammo situation with the fellows over at www.Battlerifles.com , and it seems that there's been a lot of 7.62 X 51 (NATO) / .308Win being imported from India that is totally bad, rejected junk. The bullets are not properly seated, inconsistant loads, and some hot loads have been reported that have caused serious damage to rifles and injury to the shooter.
If anybody shoots 7.62 NATO, stay clear of anything coming out of india.

There's other surplus from Australia, GB, Argentina, and Portugal that is very good quality stuff....just not India.......

Thanks for the warning Tony. Thank God I roll my own! I only have me and my Dillon XL650 to worry about!
