Has anyone got load info for Barnes Triple Shock X bullets for .223? I loaded 53 grain bullets using IMR4198 and the loads of higher than 21.0 grs. were not good for accuracy. The 21.0 was great, but would not cycle enough in my Bushmaster Predator to put in another round. I see on the website for Barnes the are using a 24" barrel and H4895 powder, but was wondering if anyone else has tried other powder. BTW, the Predator has a 20" 1 in 8twist. Thanks for your help.

1 in 8 twist would require a heavier bullet for best accuaracy. The TSX is very accuarate in appropriate twist rifles. Just my opion.

I have loaded 55 grain Nosler Ballistic tips and shot sub 1/2MOA out of that gun. I know that it should shoot better with heavier bullets, but how much better can I get. I have also shot 77gr. matchking that did not group as good as 55gr. FMJ. Quirky gun? Maybe. It isn't the bullet, but the load that is getting me.
