barrel question

    If I was to put a 7 inch barrel on a 5 in frame and slide would it be any different than having a long slide? I think that if I was to do that it would look pretty sweet :)

    To answer your question, No. The barrel would not be supported on the muzzel end. If you are very good at fitting a barrel bushing, go for it. If not leave it alone as the accuracy will go out the window.

    So a tighter barrel bushing will help the accuracy? How snug? I'm no gunsmith, but I know a lot of them...Thanks

    On my 1911's you need a bushing wrench to get the bushing to turn. You cannot do it with your fingers.
