    Here at TFF
Also check underwater humps. In the Summer, Bass will suspend in deep water usually just above the thermocline. As the weather cools down, look for Bass around creek mouths and any kind of structure on shallow points.

If you want to be a good bass fisherman, go fishing every chance you get, learn their habits, pay close attention to water temp and wind and learn what they feed on.

What Shooter says. Watch out when them shad run. Can be posolutely mind shattering when they push em to the surface! They'll hit an old bobby pin if y'all throw it out there! Had my daughter out once, they started hitting those shad, anything you threw out, they would hit. My daughter hooked one and said "dad, can ya take it off the line"? I told her it was every man for himself at that point! But, I did stop to take her bass off. I then gave her the long nose pliers and showed her how to get the hook out! :D :D :D

Always remember, when the sand bass hit the surface shad, the hybrids, are right below! Try droppin a jig while the sand bass feed. Them big hybrids will suck up anything they can at about 40 feet!

ISP, You've lead a sheltered life. It is the magneto (generator) nfrom the old hand crank telephones from a LOOONNNGGGG time ago. Marlin helped invent them!! :D :D

Actually, I invented the hand crank magneto, but Marlin, being a lawyer, got the patent. :D:D:D

Top water lure ,with a second pole with a spinner bait ,when you hit one topside there is always a second to be picked off with a spinner ,and if nothings hitting ,rubber worm on the bottom ,occasionally use a real worm in place of it
