WASHINGTON (AP) - Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a fallen soldier in Iraq who reinvigorated the anti-war movement, was taken into custody by police in the House gallery Tuesday night just before President Bush's State of the Union address.

Police escorted Sheehan from the visitors' gallery above the House chamber after causing a disruption, said a Capitol Police official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because details of the incident were sketchy.

Rep. Lynn Woolsey, D-Calif., had invited Sheehan to the address as her guest.

That sad part is that it just makes her a martyr for their side. It would be better if she was just ignored, but then the media would have to report on good and uplifting things. Nobody wants to watch that, right?

She really needs to be hospitalized. Her mind is gone. Her poor son, who was a Marine is probably rolling in his grave over the aggravation she is causing. Her husband divorced her for doing what she is doing.

She was arrested for starting to unfurl a anti-war banner in the chamber which is against the law. That is a little more than causing a disturbence but the media seems to have over looked that!

As of this morning the news stated she was released and that "they apologized for the incident". Now she is worse than a martr; she is a "prosecuted and vindicated" martr.
