We had 10 to 12 inches of snow here last night with 40 MPH winds. It has stopped snowing now but the wind is still blowing snow everywhere. All roads in and out of the Oklahoma panhandle are closed.

We dodged a bullet here in Amarillo. Forecast to receive over 7 inches, it mellowed out at around 4", but the roads are icy. It rained all day yesterday, got over an inch and an eighth of very much needed moisture, then it started snowing. Roads North (Hwy 87) was closed earlier, I-40 West was closed because of conditions in New Mexico.

Birds are flocking to my feeders in front and back, even squirrels are feeding at the trough. Acorns went fast due to the drought.
