Does anyone on here remember Brolin Arms? I had one of these in '94 or 95 and loved it. I sold it when I needed cash. Any used ones for sale out there?

The first two (early) copies of the Brolin Arms 1911 that I personally handled were poor copies as far as 1911's go due to workmanship and quality control. After Brolin had produced 1911's for awhile the quality improved.

I also got one in a trade years ago and after a little tweeking was a decent shooter. For the $$ , a Norinco 1911 was a much better buy.

If I recall correctly, the Brolin Mags were prone to malfunction.

I don't know when they started making them, but mine was great. It functioned, shot to point of aim and had all the bells and whistles except an ambi safety. One thing did bother me about the gun though. When the magazine was rammed home, the slide would close by itself! I have never shot a Norinco but have heard good things.
