    Hello,

There is all this talk about fast and slow burning powder and I have a question. Is there a list of all the powders by their burn rates? Something like a list that has all the powders in order by fastest to slowest.

    Thanks.

Most if not all loading manuals have a list and info on the popular powders on the market.

Here is a link that should keep you reading for a while. :D

GOOGLE "Smokless powder Burn rates" and it will answer ANY question. It has the most comprehensive chart that I've ever seen. Never heard of most of the powders listed. I used it once to try to determine what was the closest powder to that the French used in the 7.65 Long pistol round.

Thanks Jim, I have had the same question. I am experimenting with different powders in the same caliber with different barrel lengths.
